Mia’s graduation session at Arizona State University was one of those shoots that just felt celebratory from start to finish. There was something in the air that afternoon — that mix of relief, pride, and pure excitement that only comes when someone has truly made it to the finish line. We took full advantage of everything ASU’s Tempe campus has to offer and let Mia soak in every single second of it.

Graduation is one of those milestones that deserves to be documented. Four years of hard work, late nights, and showing up, and every single bit of it led to this.

Old Main

Old Main is the heartbeat of Arizona State University and there is simply no ASU graduation session without it. The iconic architecture, the open lawn, the fountain, it is classic Tempe in the best possible way and it never gets old no matter how many times I photograph here. For Mia’s session we made sure to use every angle Old Main has to offer, from the grand steps in full cap and gown to more relaxed, in between moments that felt true to her personality and energy.

Palm Walk

From Old Main we headed to Palm Walk, and if you know ASU you already know why this stop is non negotiable. The rows of towering palms lining the walkway are instantly recognizable and give every Arizona State graduation photo that iconic Sun Devil feel. It is timeless, it is stunning, and the warm Tempe light filtering through the palms makes every shot look effortless. This is the one your family will want framed.
