Abby and John’s wedding day at The Scott Resort & Spa was the perfect blend of intentional, intimate, and effortlessly beautiful. Every part of their day felt true to them, stripping away anything that didn’t matter and leaning fully into what did: their people, their connection, and the experience.

Abby got ready surrounded by the people who matter most. No bridesmaids, just family, which made the morning feel intimate and full of heart. Her details were beautiful and her dress was stunning. One of the most emotional moments of the day came before the ceremony even began, Abby shared a first look with not only John, but her dad too, and it was truly one of those moments that stops you in your tracks.

With just 60 guests, this wedding felt like a private celebration. Everyone there was someone who truly mattered, and you could feel that warmth in every single moment. The couple made sure to soak it all in by extending cocktail hour so they could actually be present with their guests, which I always love to see. And as the sun started to dip, we snuck away for portraits alongside a stunning classic car, the kind of golden hour that Scottsdale does better than anywhere else.

From the moment I arrived at The Scott Resort and Spa, I knew this day was going to be something special. The Scott is one of my favorite wedding venues in Scottsdale, it’s sophisticated, warm, and endlessly photogenic. It perfectly matched Abby and John’s effortless elegance.
